Vela Park Food Works is Atlanta’s newest food hall and community gathering space—bringing together multiple kitchens, full-service bars, live entertainment, and a high-energy atmosphere.
We’re building an opening team of reliable, detail-oriented Porters who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Position Overview:
The Porter plays a critical role in keeping the venue clean, organized, and operating efficiently. This position focuses on cleanliness, sanitation, and overall facility upkeep to ensure an excellent guest and team experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, common spaces, and service stations
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized dish area
- Remove trash and recycling throughout the shift
- Clean and restock restrooms regularly
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors in all guest and service areas
- Assist with opening and closing cleaning tasks
- Respond quickly to spills, messes, and cleanliness needs
- Follow all health and safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior porter, janitorial, or restaurant support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Team-first mindset with a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be 18+
